One of the Cincinnati Zoo's celebrity animals is a Brazilian Prehensile Tail Porcupine named Rico. He is the inspiration for this watch dial. The dial is handcrafted with .999 Find Silver using traditional cloisonné techniques. The wires which outline the cells for the enamel are hand bent and attached to the dial. Each cell is filled with vitreous (grand feu) enamel from Japan and fired multiple times in the kiln at about 1400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Background is a vibrant blue.

The watch case is made in Stainless Steel by the Cincinnati Watch Company. 

The watch features a Swiss Made Automatic Movement.
